Just recall the frustrating movement when you are in a mood to read a newspaper or a magazine and run across words whose meanings elude you. Language, after all, is power.

The frustration of not having the right word immediately available to convey a thought or a message is felt by all, from beginners in English to veterans in journalism. Sometimes it’s a matter of not being able to recall the right word; sometimes we never knew it.

Building a vocabulary that is adequate to the needs of one’s reading and self-expression has to be a personal goal for every writer and speaker and this course is designed for the same thing.

This is a simple course to discuss the different ways to build vocab and measure the level of improvement time to time.
