College admissions
are on, students are jumping around to get a seat and what is
important for the non capital students to get a safe and sound
place to stay in the fast and hard city. A popular option would be
to get into the college hostel but not everyone's eligible as there
is certain criteria related to percentages, a separate cut off
list, followed by an interview, assures you a room in the college
hostel. Not all DU colleges provide you with hostel facility. But,
no need to make yourself sweaty and tensed………
You have another hot option and that is if you don't get into
college hostel, you can turn around and find yourself a place
around campus is a good alternative.

Accommodation has never been as easy as girls have to dole out anywhere between 5,000 to 7,000 and you get a luxurious private hostel with food and electricity included. Some hostels do have air conditioned rooms to cool you, even gym facility and access to the internet is provided. |

entertainment of students. You have wide variety to choose from if
you don't have a high budget as rooms are also available for Rs.
3,000 to 4,000. The girl's hostel has set up time deadlines for
girls to ensure their safety and CCTV's
also help keeping an eye on the girls.
If you don't want to be restricted by the hostel limits then rooms
on rent is an option for you. There are no confines but freedom
also comes with a price and for a furnished two-room apartment, you
will have to shed somewhere around Rs. 8,000 a month and single
rooms will cost you about Rs. 6,000.
For a fully furnished apartment, with a TV, refrigerator, bed and
gas stove will cost you around Rs. 10,000. Also, each flat can be
shared with two or three girls or guys. Best is the free entry and
exit policy.
