Academic and General Requirements:

Age requirement: Each applicant must be at least 17 years old on the first day of classes.

TOEFL 500. Evidence of having scored at least 500 on the paper-based TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language), 173 on the computer-based TOEFL, or a minimum of 61 on the Internet-based TOEFL.
If you have not yet taken the TOEFL or have not received the minimum TOEFL score required by the University, please contact your international admissions advisor request information today for alternative proof of English evidence.

Academic Requirements: High School/Secondary School Documentation. You must submit a certified copy of the primary documents used in your country that demonstrates completion of secondary studies. This may include:
- Transcripts that show all courses taken, grades received and completion/graduation date
- A certificate of national examination results
A certified copy is an original document or attested (signed with an official stamp or seal) photocopy that has been issued by the educational institution or government agency responsible for issuing the document. An official English translation must accompany the document.

If you have not yet completed the last year of secondary school, you may still apply. Submit an official transcript showing the courses you have completed, and a letter in English from your school stating your current student status and expected date of high school/secondary school completion. US Federal law requires international students studying on an F-1 Visa to enroll full time while studying within the United States. In order for DeVry to issue an I-20, you much show that you have at least $26,000 USD per academic year available in a moveable account.

Visa and Immigration Requirements:

U.S. Immigration and the Department of Homeland Security require certain financial and academic documentation prior to considering admission of international applicants, including the following:

- Certified copies of high school or college transcripts or the equivalent, documenting the required level of prior education. Foreign diplomas and supporting transcripts not written in English must be translated into English by a certified translator and will require evaluation by a qualified official or an approved educational credentials evaluation agency. For detailed information, please contact your admissions advisor or request information today.
- For students wishing to secure a sponsor in order to assist with their educational costs, DeVry will provide the student with an "Explanation of Cost" letter. Please contact your admissions advisor or request information today.

- Letter of acceptance from DeVry
- Original proof of financial support (e.g., bank statement or items that may be required by immigration).
