  • Individual tutoring by drop-in or appointment
  • Group tutoring by tutors
  • Computer-assisted tutorials and instruction

You may schedule an appointment with a tutor or see any available tutor without an appointment. Many full-time faculty are present to assist students in the ASC for one hour per week.

Student Clubs and Activities:

DeVry Sherman Oaks has a strong program of co-curricular (outside of the classroom) activities that offer students a chance to expand their educational experiences into one that reaches "beyond the classroom" setting. By combining theoretical lessons learned in the classroom with direct experiences from the co-curricular activities, students can enhance their sense of identity and gain the skills that will enable them to move in and deal with an increasingly complex world.

The Welcome Event, which is held the second week of each summer term, is a great way to introduce yourself to existing clubs on campus. Existing clubs are involved with academics, sports, and social issues. Some of are existing clubs include:

Games and Anime
As many would know, movies and live theatre are better seen when you're not alone! The weekly objectives of this club will be to talk about Japanese animation, as well as trading and borrowing videos from each other. Weekly screenings of Anime, LAN and video game tournaments will be organized throughout the trimester. Other club objectives include trips to local and statewide Anime conventions and the design of our own Video Games.

Associated Student Body (ASB)
The Associated Student Body (ASB) at DeVry strongly promotes and encourages a "Get Involved" attitude throughout the entire campus. The ASB is an organization that represents the entire student population. The ASB consists of a cabinet of four officers as well as a student representative from each class section, also known as senators. The ASB is on campus to assist in the development of student leaders, plan student events, and to promote an environment conducive to the advancement of academic, personal, and social growth. All students are welcome to attend ASB meetings.
