Cohen- Known as the "father of
British Venture Capitalism", this rich guy studied at Oxford. He
made lots of money by founding the UK's very first
venture capital firm. Cohen was knighted by the Queen,

many ways- for example, he led the Social Investment Task Force,
a new initiative with a remit to explore ways to create a system
of sustainable investment in economically deprived areas in the
UK.

Darwin- The father of
evolution, Darwin studied medicine at the University of Edinburgh
in the UK. He later joined the journey of the Beagle, and the
specimen he collected eventually led to the hypothesis of natural
selection and evolution. His book, On the Origin of
Species, is considered a landmark. Darwin is widely regarded
as one of the most influential people in modern science and
biology, and it all started at a UK university.

An extremely popular actor, Hugh Laurie studied

Stirling- A world-renowned
architect, Stirling studied architecture at the University of
Liverpool in England. He is among the most important and
influential architects of the second half of the 20th century. He

Library at the University of Cambridge and the Neue Staatsgalerie
in Stuttgart. The Stirling Prize, a British annual prize for
architecture was named after him. His UK studies made him a great
