Courses allow
instructors to create a structured curriculum of content
using the features LearnHub offers: Lesson
Pages, Videos,
Presentations,
Tests,
Discussions, and Debates. By using access restrictions
instructors are in control of who enrolls and can decide to offer a
free course, or set a cost per student.
As a student, you have access to a
marketplace of professional quality courses in a multitude of
topics.
Watch the Courses (Coming Soon)
video for a quick tutorial on creating and enrolling in
courses.

Communities

Where will my course show up for others to
see?
Your course will appear in the Marketplace.
When you publish your course using the "Share in Communities"
widget, you can select as many communities as you want to feature
your course in. The course will primarily be featured within those
community marketplaces but is also search-able from anywhere on
LearnHub.
How do I invite others to my course?
You can invite both LearnHub contacts as well as outside friends directly to your course. You can do this in the "Edit Course" page. Simply check off the users you want to invite in the "Invite Your Contacts" widget, and or write your friends e-mails in the "Invite Non-LearnHubbers" widget.

When viewing the main course page, you will
find the "Edit Course" button above the course image.
How do I upload title image?
Below the default green book image in the
course editor, you will see an "Upload Photo" link. A browse box
will appear which allows you to upload an image from your
desktop.
Do I have to upload an image?
No, but it's highly
recommended.
Can I use an online image (ex. from
Flickster)?
While you can't attach the image directly
from an online source, you may download the image to your desktop
and upload it to LearnHub. To do so, simply right click
(ctrl+click) on an image and choose 'Save Image
As…'.
How do I add content?
You can add content using the "Curriculum Editor" in the Curriculum tab. You can simply drag and drop all your Publicly and Privately published content you've already created through your Workspace.

Do I need to publish my content in order to add it to a course?
Yes. If you wish to keep your content
private from the general public, simply publish it using the
"Private Sharing" widget. If you don't mind it being published to
the public, you can still add it in your course. To do so, choose
the "Public Sharing" option. These can be found in any of the
features editor.

course?
This is completely up to you. You can offer
your course for free (0), or as much as you want.
What payment system does LearnHub
use?
In order to receive a payment, you must own a Paypal account.
What are the different Scheduling
Types?
There are three schedule types you can
choose for your course:
Open; students can enroll at any time and stay
enrolled for as long as the person chooses.
Scheduled; students must enroll before the course start
date. They only have access for as long as the course is running.
The instructor must set a start and end date.
Rolling; students can enroll at any time but are
limited to a set number of days they may have access to the course
content. The instructor sets how many days the course is available
for.
Can I limit the number of students in my
course?
Yes. Simply edit your course and set the
Student Limit to whatever you wish.
By default, the student limit is unlimited-in order to change it
back from a limited number of students to unlimited, simply change
the number to 0 (zero).
Can I create Discussions and Debates in a
course?
Yes. On the main page of the course, you
have the ability to create both Discussions and Debates that can
only be accessed by enrolled members.
Students also have the ability
to create discussions and debates.
