Location of the College: This college is part of North Campus, Delhi University. Its address is University Enclave, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007, which is quite prime to define how central it is and therefore reachable by all students. Another all time favorite spot to hang out for after hour for chilling is the high spirited market of campus Kamla Nagar known amongst campus lovers as "K-Nags". Facilities Offered in College: This college is known for its great location and fine building complimented with landscaped spaces and garden. The college canteen is well known to satiate ones appetite with delicious and lip smacking food much preferred by all students. There are 16 labs for science stream, 2 well organized conference rooms and 2 committee rooms to be availed by students for their learning and activities. College's auditorium is quite new also the breakthrough achievement is the establishing Ciliate Laboratory for the research work. The college library has1,34,000 books collected over the years for the students belonging to all the streams. A provision for Multimedia Learning is also collaborated. The college has a brilliant spots complex named as Sant Harchand Singh Longowal Sports Complex, with a well equipped gymnasium for students. |

Students Society: With the onset of winters the college students make ardent efforts to organize a college fest which is attended by campus youths with all gusto. The college's annual magazine shows the bright minds working creatively and writing to contribute in this publishing legacy. The editor of the college magazine is always chosen from the students by judging their execution and writing talent. The magazine is known as 'The Tegh'. An interesting part of the college is, it still supports the legacy of tradition and religious polity of Sikh community as seen in college's Divinity Society. This society organizes Shabad, Kirtan and holds Darbar during the occasion of Guruparb. This college has shaped many young athletes who have brought many proud moments back to this country. The college's sports activities and emphasis on building up great sportsmanship is a listed priority of the college. Khalsa College has participated in national as well as international sports competitions. Its premises has hockey field, a cricket pitch, football court, rooms for table tennis, carom and chess. There is a provision of playing and practicing squash racket as well. This shows college is dedicated in shaping the students in all walks of interests. The college has no hostel facility currently. There is one Sexual Harassment cell which is active in terms of any crisis. The college also has no ragging policy like many other colleges of D.U. The act of miss-demeanor or ragging is prohibited here. one more vital information could be that college runs many scholarship programmes funding studies of its students. |

College Alumni: The country's leading sports persons are the protégée of this college who will be remembered for their services to the nation. Ashok Diwan has won in year 1975 World Cup Hockey Title played in Kuala Lumpur, 4 Arjuna Awards recipient, gymnast Shyam Lal-1961 is a well remembered student of the college. He has also represented India in 1956 Melbourne and in 1960 Rome Olympics. Another very famous remembered and cherished by all cricket fans is of Mr. Mohinder Amarnath, who has achieved man of the mach trophy in 1983 World Cup matches played by Indian team with England and West Indies. |
