Placement Scenario The Placement Cell invites companies related to finance, human resources, marketing and other recruiters to be a part of the placement process at SRCC. Profiles that companies offer relate to management trainee, executives, research analyst etc. Since the inception of the placement cell in 1996-97, most of the students available for the final recruitment have got jobs through on campus interviews. Placement Procedure For recruitment at the College, a placement season is organized during the session. Pre-Placement Talk (PPT):The PPT provides an opportunity to the recruiting companies and the students to interact. Presentation by the companies about themselves (history, growth potential, future opportunity, etc.) and jobs available (content, compensation package, location, etc.) gives a very consequential insight to each aspiring student making choice for their career Companies schedules the PPT before the date decided for the final round of selection. They also send promotional materials to the college prior to PPT. After the PPT, resumes of interested students are sent to the company. The companies send details of the selection procedure, which enables the placement cell to make necessary arrangements at its end.
