Top Indian Architecture

I confess I've only been to India a few times, and I am no expert in architecture… but here's a list of MY three favorite sites in India. You have to see them before you die.

1. Akshardham, Delhi

This site is fairly new… and totally took our breath away. We weren't allowed to take pictures, but I found this its site: Akshardham.

2. Taj Mahal, Agra

An obvious choice. A must see site in the world. That's me in the right side of the picture.

3. Qutub Minar, Delhi

A very very old site, with a complex history I won't try to recreate.

4. Shiv Vilas, Jaipur

Now for something completely different… he's a very new hotel that we had the pleasure of staying in for one night. Spectacular! More photos at the hotel website: Shiv-Vilas.com.

That's it?

For now. I have also visited Bengalaru (Bangalore), Chandigarh, and a few other cities but I can't point you to any other sites you absolutely have to see before you die. Please post here if you have your own recommendations!
