US Flight Academy, a Flight Training School located at the Denton Municipal Airport (KDTO) in Denton, Texas, has a state of the art training facility. US Flight Academy's airport offers the safety and training benefits of being a tower controlled airport, but without the hassles and delays of a congested airport. This means no wasted time and money waiting for taxi and departure clearances. The practice area is very close by which means no wasted travel time to another airport or distant practice area. The academy is located just 30 miles north of Fort Worth and less than 30 minutes from Dallas Fort Worth International airport. Shopping, lodging, and entertainment are all close by.
Safety, Quality, and Flexibility. These are the qualities that set US Flight Academy apart from the average flight school. They are a FAA approved CFR Part 141 flight school. This means our aircraft and training material must all be approved by the FAA. We are required to have a Chief Flight Instructor with extensive flight training experience on staff to oversee all of our instructors and flight training. Our aircrafts are maintained by our internal staff of trained FAA certified mechanics. Each aircraft is meticulously maintained to the highest standards. The North Texas Airport of Choice
The Denton Airport (DTO) is the North Texas Airport of Choice, and is located within the city limits of the City of Denton, only four miles from the central business district and 15 minutes north of the Texas Motor Speedway. The airport uses a full instrument landing system and Navigational Directional Beam, Global Positioning System, VASI II and VASI IV, which are owned by the City and maintained by the FAA. Full aeronautic services are available.
