In addition they offer unique immersion programs focusing on challenging management issues in established businesses in Korea and other countries. The programs emphasize personal development and the acquisition of business skills to:

• ensure that each student is challenged individually to attain the highest standards of personal excellence;
• introduce students to some basic humanities and social science courses that help them expand their perspective, and become responsible members of civil society;
• ensure that students learn to question assumptions and come up with creative and meaningful solutions;
• emphasize the strategic and competitive imperatives in an international environment; enhance learning by hands-on projects and teamwork.

Course Description

The Bachelor of Business degree program is designed to provide students with the business and management skills necessary to become effective leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs in today's competitive economy. The degree offers both a management education and enough breadth in complementary academic subjects to prepare students to function effectively in complex organizations, small to medium enterprises, or the public sector. In addition, students have a choice of specializations to equip them for the demands of the 21st Century, and also to share in the knowledge revolution that has put Korea at the leading edge in these fields.

The Bachelor of Business equips students with the skills necessary to lead people and processes, and build robust organizations and institutions. There are extensive career opportunities for graduates in the fields of accounting, banking, business management, consulting, computing, financial management, human resources management, international business, marketing, recruitment and staff development, and other fields in which skilled professional managers are in demand.

Core Curriculum

All Bachelors students will receive a broad-based management education in the first 5 semesters of our program. Our carefully designed core curriculum introduces the student to fundamental business disciplines and functions in preparation for further study in their chosen specialisation in later semesters. Our Asian Language Program is also a required element of the core curriculum.

Specializations

SolBridge offers 5 different specializations for students wishing to pursue an in-depth study of a specific business field. All courses have a strong international flavor with a particular concentration on Asian business issues. Specializations currently offered are:

• Bachelor of Business (International Business)
• Bachelor of Business (Information Science and Technology)
• Bachelor of Business (Entrepreneurship)

  The aim of the SolBridge Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program is to produce graduates with good business management skills that are useful in Asia as well as in the rest of the world.
