Financial Aid
Scholarships
Each student must compete with other students for available scholarships. A competitive scholarship shall be awarded for the purpose of encouraging academic excellence. In order to comply with this requirement, the guidelines as described in the following sections are established.
Financial aid and scholarship awards are made for a one-year period. For students who require financial aid in subsequent periods, their awards will be continued providing they maintain the stated qualification requirements in each subsequent semester.
First year student Scholarships
To qualify for a competitive scholarship for the academic year, the student must meet the criteria for unconditional admission to the University and be judged by the SolBridge Financial Aid Advisory Committee to possess an academic achievement level above that of most students and to demonstrate the potential for excellence in SolBridge studies.
Continuing Student Scholarships
To qualify for a competitive scholarship for the following academic year, the student must meet the criteria for at least 1 of the following requirements:
A) Maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.2/4.0. B) Be judged by the SolBridge Financial Aid Advisory Committee to possess a skill level above that of most students and to demonstrate the potential for excellence in SolBridge studies.
