So,folks here are the correct answers

Analogy Question
The correct answer is B.
An aphorism is by definition a pithy (terse and cogent) saying, like "a stitch in time saves nine." Similarly, an adage is a brief saying that is by definition sagacious or wise.
Problem Solving
The correct answer is C.
Let the initial amount with John be P $
Amount with John after giving to the first son= 2/3 P
Amount with John after giving to the second son= 3/4×2/3 P
Amount with John after giving to his wife= 4/5×3/4×2/3 P
Given that 4/5×3/4×2/3 P=5000
⇒2/5×P=5000
Thus the initial amount P = 12,500$

explanation for the quant question: if john had $x initially… after giving 1/3rd to his first son he’ll b left wth 2x/3… after giving 1/4th of tht to his second son… john’ll b left wth $x/2… after giving 1/5th of this to his wife… he’ll further be left with 2x/5 which is equal to $5000… so that explains ‘t all after solving for x.
