Visa Interview
Interview is a part of your visa application process. The visa officer will be aiming to satisfy him or herself that your study plans are genuine and workable.
Do's:
- Dress Smart for the interview. Try to dress up in a formal outfit.
- Take all the supporting documentation in a presentation folder. You should know the order of documents and in case a visa officer asks for any document then you should be quick enough to present that.
- Make sure the institution where you have applied is licensed by UK board of agency. You can see which educational institutes are licensed at http://www.ukba.homeoffice.gov.uk. If the educational institute is not licensed, you will not be able to get a student visa.
- You should be prepared to clearly state your educational goals; your major; why you chose that major; your graduate school plans etc.
- You should be clear about the cost of living and the course and your finances: Do you have enough money to complete the course? Can you prove it?
- You should be clear about your future plan in your country, after returning from UK: What are you going to do on your return?
- You should prepare answers for some of the frequently asked questions (FAQ's) by Visa Officers.

Dont's
Do not provide any false information, lie or withhold information. If Embassy officials find that you have misrepresented yourself or your documents, your visa will be refused or you may be barred from entering UK for up to 10 years.
