So,folks here are the correct answers Sentence Correction The correct answer is E. (A), (B), and (D) incorrectly use "inferred" to mean "implied." (A) and (C ) use the pronoun "them" instead of "it" (the antecedent is "plight"). |

Problem Solving The correct answer is D. At 10% p.a., amount at the end of the 1 st year is $13,200. Sandy has repaid $6,200 to repay at that point i.e. the beginning of the second year. Hence principal for the 2 nd year is $6,200. At 10% p.a. that will become $6,820 at the end 2nd year. Hence to completely discharge the loan at the end of the 2 nd year, Sandy has to pay $6,820.
