This year offline AIEEE 2012 exam was conducted on Sunday, 29th April, 2012. More than 11 lakh students appeared in the 11th All-India Engineering Entrance Exam. The result of the exam will be declared on 15th June 2012. Last year over 10.5 lakh students appeared in the AIEEE exam in both offline and online mode at 1,685 centres across 86 cities.
According to the Central Board of Secondary Education statement this year near about 10 lakh students appeared in the offline exam (AIEEE) and remaining 164,000 took online test at 221 examination centres. AIEEE exam is gateway to 30 national institutes of technology (NITs) besides five Indian Institutes of Information Technology. After clearing this exam students can also get admission in central and state-funded institutions, self financed deemed universities and other institutions which accept AIEEE scores to offer admissions. Below is the expected cut-offs of the AIEEE exam based which you can check your chances of getting admission in all NITs and other centrally and state funded technology institutes of the country.
