Student Activities
The International Student Centre plans activities each term so international students can enjoy themselves during their time at Capilano College. There are many activities for students on- and off-campus. These activities will help you meet new friends, learn the language and customs of Canada, and relieve stress throughout the term of study.
Many events are free but some events do have inexpensive event fees. Events are publicized in two ways, through an e-mail list, and with posters around campus.
There is also an international student newsletter, entitled Latitudes, that announces upcoming events and provides information about important topics such as course registration, academic advising, counselling and visas.
