Orientation Programme
Most educational institutions organize orientation
programmes at the start of the academic year to familiarize new and
international students with the campuses, their facilities and
practices. During orientation, you will also have the opportunity
to make friends, adjust to your new surroundings and even sign up
for various activities and events. These programmes are aimed at
making you feel right at home, so do try not to miss them.Some institutions take the additional step of offering special Immersion or Host Family programme to help international students adjust to their new surroundings. Host families can be Singaporeans or expatriates from the student's home country. The programme can include meet and greet services at the airport to welcome you to Singapore.
