In the Premier League, it is about how you start and how you finish. In this league it's all about attaining points consistently. A team must win as many games as possible in order to stay away from relegation drop. In just about all other sports it does not matter whether a team wins or not because they will be back next season. Not here folks. Every club in the Premier League starts at the same level. How each team ends will depend on the number of points attained throughout the long, strenuous season.
That's the beauty of the Premier League. You can start great and fade away towards relegation. Or can kick it up a notch when you desperately need the points to stay above the drop. Having secured enough points in the campaign will allow you to be back next season. The other thing is that 3 teams will get demoted to a lower division each and every season. This is automatic and for those three sides it's a tough reward for a lackluster season. Therefore it is imperative that a club do great wonders in the league otherwise the club will lose tons of cash and their spot in the league.
The race and battle is on and each game means that much more. This
isn't a place where losing is acceptable, unlike other sports. This
is a place where the strong survive and the weak falter. Once you
are down, its tough to come back up.
