Practice mindfulness with Jon Kabbat-Zinn



Mindfulness is falling awake. It may take practice but mindfulness is an awareness that can bring us to our senses. Jon Kabbat-Zinn has written an incredible book called Coming to Our Senses. I think Kabbat-Zinn's speeches speak for themselves.

    The lesson/session is a stretch of being mode into which the participants including the viewer is drawn in. The content proved that it has no culture barrier whatsoever. The conducive ambience is created and minute details like dynamic being mode( the demonstrator’s gestures do not impede the collective stillness) are taken care of. This lesson happens to be an ongoing reflection of my moment-to-moment life. The session is a commentary on the Alexander Technique.

    To elucidate, ’ The session is a commentary on the Alexander Technique ’, the session exemplifies and demonstrates AT through Jon Kabbat-Zinn’s gestures, movements, communications and not the least the chimes he played which created very pleasant sound….

    thank you for clarifying. You are correct in your observations. However, only those who understand AT would have noticed that. There is certainly a connection among various techniques that promote mindfulness.
