Bowling Green State University

BGSU offers over 200 undergraduate programs, as well as various master's and doctoral degrees, including the nation's first Ph.D. program in photochemical science and one of the first undergraduate programs in neuroscience. In addition, BGSU has accreditation from the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools to offer full degree programs online.

Central State University

Central State University is small and affordable, with a campus climate that encourages both the intellectual and social development of its students. The University celebrates diversity, promotes cooperation, and fosters lasting friendships.

Cleveland State University

CSU offers many disciplines and research facilities, with 70 academic majors, 27 master's degree programs, two post-master's degrees, six doctoral degrees, and two law degrees. It also has research cooperation agreements with the nearby NASA Glenn Research Center.

Kent State University

Kent State University (also known as Kent, Kent State, or KSU) is one of America's largest university systems, the third largest university in Ohio and the largest residential university in northeast Ohio. Kent State is a traditional, selective, residential public research university and its seven regional campuses serve multi-county regions of Northeast Ohio.[4] The eight campuses offer degree programs from the associate to doctoral and medical degrees. The university has students, faculty, and visitors from the entire USA and other countries.

Miami University

Miami University is reputed to be one of the most beautiful university campuses, as poet Robert Frost described Miami as "the most beautiful college there ever was."[9] The campus features modified Georgian revival red brick buildings on an open, tree-shaded campus void of high rise skyscraper dormitories

Ohio University

Ohio University offers a number of graduate programs for students who have completed an undergraduate/bachelor's degree equivalent to a U.S. four-year degree at an accredited institution.

Shawnee State University


Shawnee State University (SSU) is a public university located in Southern Ohio. It is Ohio's newest state-supported university and is located on the north bank of the Ohio River in the city of Portsmouth in Scioto County. Shawnee State offers more than 80 Bachelor's and associate degree programs, and had its first Master's degree graduate in June 2007.

University of Akron

The University of Akron is an open enrollment regional institution of higher learning located in Akron, Ohio. UA has 24,704 students representing 44 U.S. states and 79 foreign countries creating a culturally diverse student body coming from a broad economic spectrum. The University of Akron is a vibrant community within metropolitan Akron, with more than 80 buildings on 218 acres.

University of Cincinnati


The University of Cincinnati is a coeducational public research university in Cincinnati, Ohio. The 2007 rankings from The Center at Arizona State University place the University of Cincinnati as a "Public University Ranking in the Top 25 among Publics," tied for the 37th best public research university and 70th overall research university in the United States.[2] UC has an annual enrollment of approximately 35,000 students - thus making it one of the 100 largest universities in the U.S. It offers nearly 600 programs of study, ranging from 2-year Associate's Degrees to Doctoral and post-doctorate education.

University of Toledo


The University of Toledo, as of 2006, offers over 250 academic programs; all are a part of the University's ten colleges: Arts and Sciences, Business, Education, Engineering, Health Science and Human Service, Law, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, and University of Toledo's University College. In 2006, The Princeton Review named the University of Toledo College of Engineering Graduate School as the #18 engineering graduate school in the United States.

Wright State University

As of spring 2006 Wright State had a total enrollment of 17,110 (including 910 at the branch Lake Campus, located in Celina, Ohio, near St. Marys). Wright State offers 155 degree programs, including 46 graduate and professional programs (including schools of medicine and professional psychology).

Youngstown State University


Youngstown State University, founded in 1908, is an accredited university located in Youngstown, Ohio, United States. As of fall 2008, there were 13,712 students and a student-faculty ratio of 19:1.
