Riding the TTC Subway in Toronto can be
quite an adventure. Whether you're taking the morning commute to
work, or going out for a night on the town with your buddies, or
off to the Eaton Centre to go shopping, the subway is where
everyone goes to get to their destination.
Recently a company decide to create buttons for each subway
station, which takes on a representation of what the actual station
looks like. Each station has its own distinct look so you can tell
them apart. I think this is a really pretty aspect of our subway
stations which we Torontonians may take for granted. I guess people
buy the buttons of their favourite subway stations, or the ones
they use most frequently.

Above is a picture of all the buttons arranged in order of the
subway line.

Here's a close-up!
A lot of entrances to the subway station require you to walk down
some steps to get underground. You can find subway entrances
connected to malls, buildings and plazas as well.

My favourite part of the subway stations are the musicians. As far
as I know, these musicians audition and are hired to play in
designated areas in the subway station. Their talents range from
the electric guitar to traditional Chinese instruments to the banjo
to the accordion. Here's one musician named Scott dressed up as a
jailbird below!
