we will be soon uploading more of the lessons on vedic maths. so keep visiting.
Sure…. working on that only.
much more on vedic maths is about to come…... so keep visiting.
nice introduction for vedic maths, eagerly waiting for vedic maths techniques
Hey Hi, I cud not able to c any lessons over here can any one PM the right Link for Vedic maths
Dear friends, very soon we will come up with a series of lessons on Vedic Math concepts. Just give us some time to make it up….
one example :
numbers closer to 100
98×99
Take the base as 100
98-2 : 2 is the deficiency from the base 99-1 : 1 is the deficiency from the base
we need now LHS and RHS
To find LHS : cross subtract (98-1) or (99-2), both yield same results i.e. 97.
For RHS : multiply the deficiency 2×1 =2, but, since 100 is base take 02.
LHS : 97 RHS 02 Answer : 9702.
Notes: 1) The squares of number close to hundred is just a special case of above treatment. 2) For numbers above 100, take same base , use same method, but this time add the extra number e.g. 105 , 105+5.
3) For 98×108, the method is slightly different.
These methods can be found in the book mentioned above.
Caution: Vedic Mathematics is just a method to solve numbers quickly. It’s not actual mathematics, but more like a magic show – the results are fascinating, but no significance exist in mathematics. Calculations are only rudimentary part of mathematics, not the whole mathematics.
um whrs the link to the examples ..???
hi astha,
which examples are you talking about?
