Great talk Kim. Good intro to those new to the concepts.

I think I’m the only person that’s always liked the term “Web 2.0”. At first I thought it was checky and over-ambitious, but its now a promise to making this second wave of web innovation (flickr, YouTube, Wikipedia, LearnHub) as meaningful as the first (Google, eBay, Amazon).

It is hard to label the new wave, and it seems Web 2.0 has caught on! I’m a stickler for semantics, so I’ve never been quite sure what the labels intends. It harkens of software and now the concept of software is changing a bit with these new technologies, as you mentioned with your listing the latest web innovations. I’ll have to start rethinking the way I conceptualize “Web 2.0.” Good point!
