Nearly 2 lakh UG & PG students in India will have to look out for another university in India or abroad very soon. Ministry of HRD has submitted an affidavit in Supreme Court of India to shut down 44 deemed Universities in India which they call are being run as "family fiefdoms". This list includes some very popular universities such as:
Jaypee Institute of Information Tech, Noida
Manav Rachna International University, Faridabad
Lingaya's University, Faridabad
Christ College, Bangalore
HRD ministry has surveyed all 130 deemed Universities August 2009. Out of these 130 universities 44 universities were considered unfit and recommend for de-reorganization. The irony of the situation is that the 3 institutes out of these 44 were sponsored by Government agencies. The state wise classification of these universities is like: Tamil Nadu: 16, Karnataka: 6, U.P.: 4, Haryana, Maharashtra, Uttarakhand, Rajasthan: 3 each, Delhi, AP, Orissa, Gujarat, Puducherry: 1 each
The Ministry has taken an account of affected students and emphasized that their interest will be taken care. They have recommended these deemed universities to contact their respective state universities to get the status of affiliated college so that students can complete their ongoing courses and get the degree from affiliating University
Now the question is how these universities get the
status of Deemed universities at the start and play with the career
and money of thousand of students. These money hunters should be
punished and made liable for such irresponsible and illegal
things.

Sibbal. they all will get there degrees and examination conducted
from the respective state universities.

The students should not suffer without any fault of them. The Human Resource Development ministry has promised that the affected students would still get their degrees whatever be the fate of their universities.
The ministry also announced that the concept of deemed universities from the country will go in the near future and this is part of the reform process.

You need not to be worried, however the all circumstances seems to be in favour of JRN Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University, as this university is working very differently, which no other university of the nation is working.
The University is working for Poors, Rural Area, Women and for social cause not for money.
Also in the worst case, if University derecognise, even after that you degree will be recognised.
Say me whether Kalasalingam Universities Status is cancelled or not…? Cos im so eager to listen it…

FOOL you do’t know even what is happening inside those foulplaying doomed universities like mody university who are only involved in SUCKING exorbitant fees from innocent students and their parents ,i am also a PARENT VICTIM of a derecognised SIKSHA O ANUSANDHAN DOOMED TO BE university but i actually know the loopholes; bcoz onE ex-v.c of mody UNIVERSITY is in our university and u will be terified when u come and see thE MALPRACTICES how they are involveD in munnabhai mbbs like acting while mci visit how they fool naac and UGC PEER TEAMS WHILE VISIT AND GIVE THEM HAND FULL OF BRIBE,BRINGING TRUCKS OF FALSE PATIENTS ON RENT FROM SLUM AREAS ON DAY OF VISIT,HOW THEY REMOVE BOARD OF ONE[HOTEL MGMT] COLLEGE RUNNING IN SAME BUILDING DURING VISIT OF COMMITTEE TO ANOTHER[SOA NATIONAL LAW COLLEGE] COLLEGE IN SAME BUILDING ,ALL IMPORTANT ACADEMIC AND ADMINISTRATIVE POSTS ARE FILLED UP BY THE FAMILY MEMBERS AND NEAR AND DEARONES AGAINST THE VERY NORMS OF UGC AND OTHER COUNCILS.STUDENTS WHO DON’T ATTEND CLASSES SECURE 95% WITH COPY.AND MUCHMORE SO PLS DON’T GET BIASED AND TOO EMTIONAL IN GIVING CLEANCHIT TO THOSE CHEATERS DISGUISED IN GARB OF PRESTIGIOUS UNIVERSITY STATUS.RUNNING SHIFTS LIKE FACTORIES TROUBLING BOTH ITER FACULTIES AND NONSENSE STUDENTS WHO DON’T SEE ANY FAULT AS THEY FEAR THE COLLEGE MGMT AND ALSO THEY KNOW THAT THEY CANNOT SURVIVE IN BPUT.

after the government decision ,our university torches on us. always
he throw out from hoste,and give unwanted pressure on students.

this type of university gives only paper role of degree.they has no
any faslity,they do only business.

these all de recognised universities should be kept under state university or under hrd ministry under strict survillance and the students should not be effected by any meance.The honable supreme court should take strict action agnist universities and the UGC to make sure that this kind of irregulaties never happen in our country.
Its all about politics and money, nobody even think before open these university and now also nobody going to think about student's future and their money. As a deemed university student I can understand that there is no quality at all in these university so its ALL (not only 44) should be close or re strength again with standard. Screening 130 and recommendation to close for 44 ……Its all game of politics and money.
why the central govt has given permission to open the above universities. it is irresponsible duty .first take action againest the concern mestry.many of students suffered.pl take over that universities.
we should not forget the future of thousands of students
studying in these universities as they are also future of their
parents. and they are also playing with there lives.

sir, i have completed M.Sc(Computer Science)& M.Phil in Computer Science form Vinayaka Mission University , Salem , Tamil Nadu wheather this certificates are recongnised form UGC , DEC with the help of this certificates it useful to get promotion in any degree college in Andra Prdesh State , wheather this certificates are accepted by Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education

hi……….great question…..I also support ur view……….If u pass out of this univ/coll and u r in search of job/got placed..in both cases what will happen??/ Will former student like u will be called in an function and will be awarded degree because u passed to these bullshit university…….or Will u get placement by UGC/AICTE/HRD etc because no company will hire u or is throwing out just because u r from a certain university…EVEN if u were a talented student and now one of the best employee of any company….WHO WILL GIVE THE JOB THESE PPL..AND IF THEY ARE THROWN OUT OF A COMPANY WILL UGC/AICTE/HRD etc HIRE THEM????
