I agree with Vahid, Google docs is great for collaboration. I think what applications you use depends on the subject taught. Blogging applications such as Wordpress and Blogger are useful for most areas. I know it’s obvious, but YouTube is good for slideshows with voiceovers. SlideShare is also good for posting lectures.
