I guessed Delhi. :(
Turns out, Bengaluru (Bangalore) got electricity in 1906. It was in fact the first city in Asia!

I don’t think it is in Nepal… here’s what Wikipedia says:
“K2 is part of the Karakoram segment of the Himalayan range, and is located on the border between Pakistan’s northern territories, and the Taxkorgan Tajik Autonomous County of Xinjiang, China.”
The other sites I checked list K2 as being in Pakistan as well.
Never heard of it.
Does Computer Science always have the highest cutoff at both campuses?
As someone who studied computer science, I think its great that its the hardest program to get into. :)
Hi Kiran,
Just Apply to the University of Stirling here on LearnHub to start the process. You will be contacted by a representative from Stirling regarding scholarships and lots more information.
Good luck, I hope you get it!

Hello mzain,

My experience with DNS has been a progressive over the years.
First I just used GoDaddy’s included DNS service when I registered domain names. Then as I needed to use some advanced DNS featured (such as wildcard subdomains which GoDaddy infuriatingly does not allow) so my colleagues and I set up BIND on our own servers. But the performance was spotty, so we looked into hosted DNS solutions and settled on Dynect. I documented the selection in my lesson, How to Compare Hosted DNS Services.
Hahahaha I would like some gold anytime as well!
Very interesting question, Ms. Poshmonkey!
Tendulkar is a legend.
I hear it is very very cold there in the winter…
The left most digit is 16… so if you eliminate all the choices with a 1 there you are only left with one choice: “0 1 1 0 1”.
There are several MBA programs listed here on LearnHub that don’t require job experience. Click here to apply to MBA programs without job experience.
Good luck Sanketh!
You can qualify and apply for b.arch courses in the UK right here on LearnHub.
As an outsider to India, I find the country incredible… the way that so many different kinds of people DO manage to work together to be one of the fastest growing economies in the world.
Tough choice. On one hand, it would give you a better chance of doing well, but on the other, you lose a year of your life and are delayed a year to the job market.
You could also consider studying in the US, the UK or Canada. Have you thought about that?
Thank you John! Rohit’s comment has been removed.
What is the order for the IITs? How do you know which is best?
I was in London a couple years ago, and my favorite site was the Tate Modern art gallery. (I love modern art!) They had an excellent show about Andy Warhol... I honestly didn’t understand his oeuvre until then.
No way! That was my 4th choice.
Good question.
Are the aieee cutoffs announced yet?

Dear John.
As you aware, college ranking is always controversial yet a useful guide for many.
Here is the order for IITs
IIT Kanpur
IIT Bombay
IIT Madras
IIT Kharagpur
IIT – Roorkee
Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi
IIT Guwahati
Again, this order keeps on changing depending upon the company that does the survey and the parameters that they consider for the survey.
For more information you can go through this very good article regarding the same
