I often get the “object” and the “subject” mixed up… but not this time!

You are making me hungry.
OMG I love Paneer! Saag Paneer is my favorite. I think “Saag” means “Spinach”.
This was one of my favorite games as a child! I had no idea it was from India… it makes sense though, I love so much else from India (like Saag Paneer!).
KRadio, you may have identified a notable subtlety in the different between “Please Respond” and “Respond if you please”, which may be worth discussing—but I am very disappointed by your aggressive tone towards Ms. Poshmonkey.
Poshmonkey is a fantastic contributor to LearnHub and has helped tens of thousands of people here with etiquette and career advice. I urge you to be more respectful and constructive with your criticism next time. Its far from clear that she’s wrong at all in this case!
Me too. Good luck, mehovering! We can do it!
I am indeed all red! hahaha
Thanks for the support sanju09.
Thanks Navdeep!
I think both English and Hinda are official languages of India. I was surprised to learn that there are about 40 languages spoken widely in India.
Ha, I guessed right! I just went with whatever named looked Danish.
The Golden Temple is so BEAUTIFUL!
This graph was adapted from Figure 12 of Hauser, Robert M. 2002. Meritocracy, cognitive ability, and the sources of occupational success. CDE Working Paper 98-07 (rev). Center for Demography and Ecology, The University of Wisconsin-Madison, Madison, Wisconsin. The figure is labelled “Wisconsin Men’s Henmon-Nelson IQ Distributions for 1992-94 Occupation Groups with 30 Cases or More”.
Good point, Oren.
But, how does one even measure their IQ? I want to know if I can beat rkmittal’s 142! What’s the highest you can get.
I love Jambalaya! I was lucky enough to visit New Orleans once before Hurricane Katrina hit.
The food was amazing.
I haven’t used C in way too long… getting rusty!
Good question, Manish.
Hi, nice to meet you!
Those are a lot of choices… depends on what you want to do in life! I did an undergraduate in math and computer science, and am really happy now.
I think it depends on the quality of universities you are considering. Are you going to apply to a US university?
I would also like to add (though I don’t think this beats DUNE), The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, but Douglas Adams. They made it into a film in 2005.
This was a tremendously fun book, but it is just to wild and random to translate into a film. They shouldn’t have tried—its almost ruined my fond memories of the book (and its sequels).
I agree that the book was a thousand times better than the movie. But the movie wasn’t that bad… Marvin was done well, Alan Rickman did a pretty good job with him (to be honest, that’s really all I care about though).
Ever tried listening to the old original radio recordings or the old English TV show? I think the books are the best of the bunch.
Nice one. I totally agree.
I had no idea it was so hard… I have a new respect for CFAs!
Can you retake the tests as many times as you want?
Poshmonkey, have you come across the book, The Cluetrain Manifesto?
It was written in 1999, and really started the ball moving on this thinking. Thesis: “Markets are Conversations.” On a more negative note, and I can barely stand the authors’ pompous writing style, but the ideas were ahead of their time.
I had no idea. :(
Where is it from?
