A man to be looked up to :)
Thats a nice lesson Gaurav. I definitely agree with you on the part that verbal section help is wanted by most of the CAT aspirants as this can be a tough section to crack.
Nice presentation
was refreshing to see a presentation lesson :)
Lol , no one will take you wrong Gaurav, a little humor is always appreciated
Not everyone gets ‘sponsorships’ actually very few do , and many of the selected candidates are from smaller cities and villages and cannot afford to pay up the fee demanded by the IIM’s . Moreover many of the selected candidates lack information about sponsorship and other means of financing their education, i think more efforts should be made in future on this issue.
Very interesting and informative post Gaurav. I have a couple of FAQ regarding the CAT exam and you can have a look at them and maybe add them to your post. These are some more FAQ that you may consider adding to your post.
What are the CAT scores and CAT scorecard? Is there any fixed structure for CAT? What is the minimum score required to clear the CAT? Is the cut-off same for each section? How many hours do I need to study everyday?
I completely agree with your viewpoint John. One more thing i would like to add to my previous post is that cats are considered a danger for infants according to beliefs here as they say cat poop and hair can be fatal for infants or children with week immune systems. I really don’t know if its true or not but i have heard that one many occasions. .
Cats are not looked upon favorably in India. There are a lot of bad luck superstitions about them. I have heard of incidents where the vet won’t even touch the cat.
While dogs are considered faithful, cats are supposed to be unfaithful and sly, well that is the general belief here in India.. It is considered a bad omen if a cat crosses your path . It is supposed to mean that you will not finish the task you have set out to do! A black cat is especially considered bad and sinister, as black cats have been associated with witches and witchcraft. It is also said that one should never challenge a cat in a closed room – it will go straight for your throat!! Personally i love cats but the Indian society in general is not very favourable toward the creature.I hope the scenario changes soon.
