Obama talks about big change, and he seems like a good guy who wants to create change for the better, but America’s in a pretty bad economic situation at the moment, and I think it’ll take a miracle to put it right. I don’t want to believe negatively because so many people have put their faith in him, but I’m just trying to be realistic. Will he do it? Who knows? You’re right – all we can do is wait and see.

He sure knows how to put words in anyones mouth, just like Putin. He talks about change, but never gets to the point to what that change will actually be, What type of change is he talking about? Bigger taxes? Im sorry girls i cannot agree with you. and what did you nickname yourself lucyinthesky? do you use LSD? you do know thats what it means right? the song writer was writing about how LSD gives you a feeling of being somewhere high. maybe you should reconsider your nickname. but then again its just my opinion.

Actually, lambstitch, contrary to popular belief, the Beatles song “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds” was inspired by John Lennon’s son, Julian, who came home from nursery school with a drawing of his classmate. Julian called his painting “Lucy in the sky with diamonds”. You may choose to believe that this song is a reference to LSD or not, but that is not my intent, nor was it the songwriter’s. I do not take LSD nor is the song even about it.

Thank you for your opinions – I understand people will always disagree on politics. Any politician knows that they have to use rhetoric to persuade people – do you not think it so for any other politician? I can understand your sentiments – even Obama acknowledged in his victory speech that it would not be easy – I don’t expect any president to have a magical wand to fix everything.
