Not sure about the singing part, but I would like to highlight this one:
8. Record your own voice and listen for pronunciation mistakes.
Couldn’t agree with you more!
There is a video on Youtube which gives us some ideas about the Chrome team.
Check it out from The story behind Google Chrome
“Think in Java” should be a good one for you. Please find it here:

The 3rd version is free, the 4th is not. But you can buy a printed copy of 3rd version too.

For the last question, subscribing to community activity feeds could be a solution. :)
@nelliemuller, my blog is on http://libinpan.com. Please feel free to take a look.
@Andrew, I totally agree with you. WordPress is very powerful and it is a little hard to start. Well, that’s why we have a community for. :)
As a Ruby developer, I do like mephisto or even Typo very much. I gave them some try at the very beginning, there were two things which stopped me:
1. Hosting. Finding a cheap PHP hosting service is so much easier at this moment. But I believe it will change soon.
2. Stability. Mephisto, Typo or Rails all live in a blooding edge now. And I would rather spend more time on my blog posts than blog itself.
Anyway, I will give Mephisto more try for sure.
Feeds or Web Feed is a data format used for providing users with frequently updated content.
If you see an orange icon likes the one on our Activity Box, there is a feed for you.
The best way to use them is to subscribe them in your favorite news reader. As we are in Google community. I would say Google Reader is a really good one.
You may need a Google Account to use it:
I am using WordPress to take care my blog. But I didn’t try others much.
As far as I can tell, wordpress is very simple to install and manage. And there is a big community to support and provide huge number of useful themes and plugins.
Flex builder is the one for me now a day. It makes programmer’s life much easier, compare to Flash.
This video is 1 minute 5 seconds long. One minute part is showing how to create a Facebook Application and spend 5 seconds to show it is working!
