Hi Nellie,
What a great lesson!. I am a big fan of learning multiple languages. I think all students should learn at least two languages. Learning a new language opens the door for new knowledge and new learning experiences.
I have been following all the posts you have in Learnhub, Nellie, and I have enjoyed all your lessons and discussions. I learn a lot from your posts and the learning activities and he videos you post. Mindfulness is indeed falling awake and as you have said it may take practice but also mindfulness is an awareness that can bring us to our senses. I have orderd Jon Kabbat Zinn book Coming to Our Sensesnad I look forward to reading it. The video is great. You really know how to integrate social issues into eduaction and your topics on happiness and how to fight fair for change in a relationship are very enlightening. I didn’t know that fair-fight-for-change is a technique in the creative use of aggression in marriage counseling. This is very interesting.
I have also enjoyed your lesson on leson Web 2.0 and your exlporing the new domins via Moodle is wonderful leasrning for me. I always visit site of your Integrating technology into learning and I enjoy the way you apply current technology. Your webquest Perfect Society is a fanatstic idea. I reall like the cativities you have assigned for the teanm The Team will investigate and uncover why Jonas left the community. I wish schools would implement your evaluation tools. Making online learning and instruction exciting by adding voice to photos isa nother methd that you have introduced through using snapvine. I enjoy it very much and I am trying to add voice to the pitcures tah I use for my daily lessons. And thanks for introducing me to another great site, the WizIQ. I like the presetations they are available there. This is a great tool for visual learners. They also have a great search tool. All these activities make lesrning fun and through effective instruction, we can motivate our students. Online platforms are nice and they provide opportunities to create a student-centered environment which is crucial for effective learning as students learn at their best in an authentic and experiential environment.
Thanks so much for sharing Nellie
Have a good day: – )
Magda
