I second that! Great lesson indeed, Rkmittal!

    Sat, 03 Jan 2009 15:06:43 -0000

    Hi there Rohit & Brar,

As far as I know, Canadian universities have not implemented this assessment.

This initiative currently only recognizes and allows U.S. universities to recruit from a pool of graduates from India and compete with universities in Australia and the UK for the best candidates.

Unfortunately, Canadian universities have not (yet) approved program.

  7. From the trivia question A Preposition is a short word (i.e. on, in, to) that usually stands in front of a(n) _______?

    Wed, 31 Dec 2008 15:56:48 -0000

    Hi there Prakash,

A preposition links nouns, pronouns and phrases to other words in a sentence. The word or phrase that the preposition introduces is called the object of the preposition.

A preposition usually indicates the temporal, spatial or logical relationship of its object to the rest of the sentence.

    Here are some examples:

The book is on the table. The book is beneath the table.

I strongly encourage you to join LearnHub’s English as a Second Language community. Here, you’ll be able to access many lessons and practice tests to help improve your grammar.

  8. From the trivia question Five dimensions determine the nature of a relationship in an interview. Which one of the following is NOT relevant?

    Wed, 31 Dec 2008 15:50:44 -0000

    Hi there,

Inclusion refers to the interviewer/ee’s ability to allow room for the other member to contribute to the conversation. If only one member of the interview were to speak throughout the duration of the interview, the interiew would be swayed toward that person. It’s important to probe an interaction and encourage conversation of substance during an interview setting to learn about a candidate. I hope that answers your question.

  11. From the discussion Any recent movies worth-watching?

    Wed, 31 Dec 2008 02:20:47 -0000

That’s so cute, Gianna! I’m trying my best to stay away from High School Musical, but my friends keep recommending it as a must-see. I do enjoy watching dance shows, and Mama Mia turned out to be one of my fave movies over the summer…Maybe I should give in to Zac Efron and his boyish good looks. Haha.

I too am a big sap for Chick Flicks! In fact, I cannot wait to see Confessions of a Shopaholic starring Isla Fisher as Rebecca Bloomwood. LearnHub confession – I’ve read and own the whole Shopaholic novel series. I’m a big fan of Sophie Kinsella’s work and can’t wait to see the book hit the big screen!
