Can anybody tell me whether the Nikon Coolpix S210 is a good camera to buy? How is the picture quality? Does it have option for manual control?

  2. From the discussion Favorite Single Issue of a comic

My personal favorite would be Animal Man#5: “The Coyote Gospel” written by Grant Morrison. It was an issue based on a simple yet totally outlandish concept, and after reading, I could never look at Warner Brother’s cartoons with the same eyes again. The panel in the last page of Crafty’s body lying at the crossroads (symbolizing the crucifix) is one of the most poignant and powerful endings to a story that I’ve ever read.

  3. From the discussion Which is your favourite Graphic Novel?

V for Vendetta… yeah, it was great, especially V’s television presentation. But tell me, any of you read the Miracleman series? (Alan Moore and Neil Gaiman writing the same character- it was heaven on earth, and it couldn’t be finished due to copyright battles. Damn all the legal stupidities)

Recently read Maus A Survivor’s Story; an eloquent narration of a Polish man’s life in Nazi Germany. Beautiful.

  4. From the discussion What's your favourite Manga?

Death Note is tops. Raito is probably one of the most interesting characters in manga history! Fullmetal Alchemist is also really good (the only case where the anime and manga have completely separate storylines, and both are still awesome).

  5. From the discussion European Comics

    Fri, 30 Jan 2009 14:04:40 -0000

Asterix and Tintin apart, I believe Europe has produced a wide variety of comics and comic writers. England has been the birthplace of writers like Alan Moore, Neil Gaiman,Garth Ennis, Grant Morrison, etc., who are now legends in the field. England is also the country where Judge Dredd, Buttonman, and the unforgettable Miracleman comics were published. Outside England, I believe France and Belgium have also produced gems like Thorgal, Lucky Luke, Blake and Mortimer(of The Yellow M fame), etc.

  6. From the discussion Which is your favourite Graphic Novel?

Sandman is my absolute favorite comic series of all time, but i doubt it can be considered as a graphic novel. (its more of a series of graphic novels) As far as graphic novels are considered, my favourite would be Watchmen.Moore at his best!
