A Good Score in GRE Exam

Usually any GRE Score above 1200 is considered as good enough score by the universities in USA. However, it varies from university to university. For ex. in case of top USA universities such as Stanford and Michigan University, average GRE Score would be much higher, while in case of two tier and three tier university GRE Score requirement can be as low as 1100 or may be even lesser.

    Sections in GRE Exam

GRE exam consists of three sections: GRE Analytical Writing section, GRE Quantitative section, and GRE Verbal section. In the GRE quantitative section students can expect to face three types of questions: quantitative comparisons, problem solving and data interpretation. Hi,

You will get to know your CAT score and corresponding CAT percentile about a month after the CAT test. You won’t be told the result when you finish your online CAT paper. The only thing that has changed is the paper format and not the rest of the CAT process.
    Good luck for CAT 2009.

    Tue, 27 Oct 2009 09:15:59 -0000

    Hello,

The CAT Online exam is not an adaptive test. The GMAT and GRE exams are adaptive, i.e., the difficulty of questions depends on how you have answered the previous question.
2009’s CAT exam will just be like the earlier CAT paper. The only change will be the online format. To attempt sample tests, just go to the CAT Online community on LearnHub and click on the link for tests or just scroll down

Definitely NCERT is the best resource to build upon your concepts. Also, try not to just remember the concepts, instead you must understand the concept and this will help you to develop a passion for learning. Also, the basic concepts that you learn at this stage will play a crucial role in determining your chances of cracking JEE, AIEEE and BITSAT in future. So, try not to concentrate just on the marks but also learn and understand the concepts. Besides NCERT books you must go through books exclusively on some important topics of Maths, Physics and Chemistry.

    Hi,

This is strange. If you are good with DI, the medium of exam should not be a problem. What about your calculation speed and approximation speed? These are the crucial factors that will determine your chances of clearing cut offs in DI. The best way to improve on this is to practice more number of online DI tests.
