About Me

I like meeting and working with others, maybe that is what I like about being a teacher. I hope to be able to give students the possibilities to make new experiences and to give them something to think about… My subjects are English, Paedagogics and Latin (only with the little ones).

I am not as well organized as I would like to be and I drive my colleagues crazy who have to share a desk with me in the staff room… I definitely need more time – 24 hours a day are simply not enough. Cooking and eating are some of my favourite activities – and reading. I’ve read my favourite books over and over again. I am a real “couch potatoe” (if I had more time, I might probably find myself doing something useful… like fitness training. Climbing up the stairs to my classroom, I sometimes feel older than I may ever be!).

There are so many other things I’d like to tell you about, but maybe it’s easier if you simply contact me and find out on your own!

Favorite Books, Magazines, Art & Music

There are certainly some professional books to be mentioned, but apart from those… Lord of the Rings, Breakfast with Tiffany (by Ed Wintle) and books by Enid Blyton (especially the Malory-Towers-Series)...- I AM a child! Oh, and Harry Potter. I also like crime stories, I like Aunt Dimity’s tales and of course many others (I love reading!).

As you can see, I love simple, nice and entertaining books with happy endings… Reality often enough lacks them.
