Mississippi College has a great MBA with specialization in HR-PR and if this is your future career path it is an excellent choice.

I have asked our LearnHub Student Counseling Manager, Amit Wadhwa to get in contact with you as he is Mississippi College’s representative on LearnHub and can help you take the next steps to enroll.

    Hi domasherpa and manveer,

I’m glad to hear that you’ve found this information to be useful in your education abroad research. It is always a good idea to know how much you should be expecting to pay for your education abroad early in the process. Mansfield University’s tuition fees are really quite affordable when compared to many schools and we would encourage you to connect with the Mansfield University international admissions staff through the blue application form in the top right corner of this page to learn more about your financing options.

    Hope this helps! Dan

  6. From the question MBA in HR-PR after B.Tech

    Thu, 23 Jul 2009 14:45:31 -0000

    Hi,

Thanks for your post here on LearnHub! Following up your BTech with an MBA can certainly be a good idea to boost your career. Do you wish to pursue a career in human resources or public relations? Your B-tech in electronics would not be as much use to you in these fields. Perhaps an area such as project management or IT Management would make the best use of your skill sets. Regardless, just make sure that whatever are you choose specialize in an area where you can see yourself working and enjoying.

Are you looking to study at b-schools abroad or stay in India?

Thank you so much for your reply. First, I intend to pursue my MBA in a combination of subjects where I can study Human Resource Management and PR both. If at all there is no combination suitable for it then I am more inclined towards Human resource management. I have had a good idea how technical industry works and mainly the IT field. I wish to apply all what I learnt in a management area and Public relations area as I always wanted the same to pursue my career in. I can see myself working as a proffessional specialized in these fields. Second, I am looking for the same in US. I am planning to write my GMAT test this sept first week. and wish to apply for the same for spring 2010. I hope I have chosen the right path. Please guide me.

      Regards, Nidhi.

I have to go with sushi as well. I don’t know how “authentically” japanese it is but at some local sushi joints in Toronto you can get some pretty delicious rolls with all kinds of crazy combinations. One involves banana, tuna (i think), and a spicy mayo and is actually really good!

    Mon, 13 Jul 2009 18:36:47 -0000

    Hi Pranoti,

I have answered part of your question in this post here

Some schools will require the equivalent of a 4 year bachelor degree before allowing you to enroll – so this would require that you complete a 16th year of education. Other schools and programs will accept students who only have 15 years of formal education. You really just have to do your research or email the schools directly to learn more as each is different.

The Chicago School of Professional Psychology is one school that I know will accept international students who have 15 years of education.

    Mon, 13 Jul 2009 18:33:22 -0000

    Hello saytophakhane,

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately, Mississippi College does not offer post-graduate programs in the field of Psychology. You would be better off asking your question and reading more about studying Pyschology in LearnHub’s All About Psychology community

If you are looking at taking your MA or post-grad in psychology abroad in an english speaking country you will need to take the TOEFL or IELTS examinations to prove your english language proficiency. It is often not a requirement to take the GRE for MA programs but it can certainly help to improve your chances of gaining entrance or getting a scholarship if you have a good score.

LearnHub works with two schools which offer graduate psychology degrees for international students – you can get in touch with them directly through LearnHub to apply! Both The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and The Adler School of Professional Psychology are really interested in hearing from you!

    Hope this helps!

  13. From the question Online vs. On-Campus Degrees

    Fri, 19 Jun 2009 21:18:49 -0000

Great questions John! The Arizona State University degree’s that are completed online are equivalent to their prestigious on-campus degrees. In fact, if you take their MS Engineering degree online, you will be taught be the exact same professors and take the same course content and examinations as your peers who are studying in Arizona on-campus!

When an online degree is earned from a top ranked school such as ASU – employers recognize the strength and reputation of the program and degree regardless of if it is earned online or on-campus. The great news is that when you graduate from your online program – your degree is from the highly ranked Arizona State University and doesn’t mention that the program was taken online. So potential employers won’t even know where the degree was taken!

The online degree from ASU makes a lot of sense for students around the world who are still looking to continue with their careers but still further their education. If you are interested in talking with the admissions staff from ASU Online about their programs – you can apply right through LearnHub using this ASU Online Applilcation Form

    Tue, 16 Jun 2009 14:16:31 -0000

    Hi Hamsa,

That’s great advice for students going to their visa interview as well. The visa officer will almost always ask you questions about why you applied and chose a specific school – so be sure to do your research and come prepared to answer that question.

It’s good to know that Walsh College in Michigan, USA offers international students so much great help during their application and visa interview process! I’m sure that you’re many international students who come to Walsh College to take their MBA or other business specialization have found this extra service to be very helpful and can often make the difference between receiving your visa and studying in the USA or being rejected!
