  1. From the discussion Having trouble with something?

    Tue, 27 May 2008 15:55:57 -0000

I am still having difficulty uploading a video for a lesson – it keeps telling me there is an error (it’s a wmv file). LeChuck did say it would still work, but it’s not.

Also is it possible to upload audio?

I have things in both mp3 and saved with audio acrobat (which let’s me genrate html code) but can not find anywhere in a lesson to upload it.

Thirdly when I try and use the code i.e Lead Britain to Wellness it is not working in my lesson, it’s just showing the code.

Thanks for your help in advance. Alex

    makattack98, you are dead on.

It is one of my favourites too.

I however actually like to combine it with some other barbell exercises to create what’s called a complex.

    It would look like this:

Deadlift, Romanian Deadlift, Bent over Row, Power Clean, Front Squat, Push Press, Back Squat, Good Mornings,

Choose a weight you can handle for your weakest exercise and perform 6-8 reps of each movement before moving on to the next (with out a rest). Fantastic!!

If i can work out how to post videos on here I’ll add my deadlift video from my program www.weighttrainingtechnique.com or you can go there and view it for free.

  4. From the lesson Wikis vs Nings? Which is Better For Collaborative Learning?

    Tue, 13 May 2008 18:07:14 -0000

This all makes for really interesting reading and I’m sure what the creators hear had hoped for.

I’m fairly new to social networking (online) I only just signed up to face book and that was only for work related activities and promotion.

I have known about ning for only about 6 months and have found it invaluable as a tool for setting up private members sites for some of my products.

Whilst I have heard of wikipedia I’ve never heard of Wikis – I’m going to have to go and see what they are all about.

    Thanks for the great info.

  5. From the discussion Is the Wii Fit and Wii Board any good for fat loss?

    Mon, 12 May 2008 07:55:24 -0000

    Thanks for all your comments.

Yes, the Yoga feature does sound pretty good.

The other problem I have with it is that it promotes the use of BMI as a measure of your body.

BMI is the biggest load of @*&£ that the health and fitness industry has ever used to equate the sate of your body.

Pretty much every person I played professional rugby with comes out as either overweight or obese.

I once knew a gym instructor who applied to join the police. They turned him down becuase his BMI was over 30 as he was only 5ft 2”, yet he could hold himself parallel to the floor, with straight arms. He was an ex gymnast.

Anyway, enough of a rant about BMI.
