I’m not entirely sure I understand your question, but I’ll try to answer it anyway. Community activities are important and usually help get scholarships- in fact I personally found that most scholarships out there these days are based on leadership and community involvement rather than academics alone. I would think that pretty much any volunteer work or extracurricular activity can be beneficial, although some are better than other. For example, volunteering in a food shelter would probably seem better than being a part of a local sponsored basketball team. However, as long as you are able to identify good skills you’ve used- leadership, communication, organization, etc., you should have something to write in scholarship applications. I hope this answers your question.
