  2. From the discussion Do you think a Non-English speaker would ever be able to speak and write excellent English like a native English speaker?

    Mon, 02 Mar 2009 17:46:12 -0000

Actually, I think one does not need to be a native English speaker to speak or write perfect English. Firstly, nobody can be always perfect in anything. Anybody can speak or read really good English, so long as they are determined, sincere and hard-working. Maybe the non-English speakers would need to put in a little more effort, that is all. Of course, the accent cannot possibly be imitated by everyone, I hope you are not considering that. Actually, many teachers are currently being recruited from India, to teach English in the UK!!!

    Sun, 01 Mar 2009 12:21:00 -0000

Very nice lesson, especially for aspirants like myself…. Actually, students don’t just prepare for the JEE for two years, there are IIT-JEE preparation programs to help u build your conceptual understanding of lessons right from class 9, which is the main essence of IIT-JEE….

  14. From the discussion iit-jee

    Tue, 03 Feb 2009 12:07:32 -0000

I live in Saudi Arabia, and my friend here has gone home to India for his 11th and 12th classes and mainly for IIT coaching. He says that in his coaching institute, most of the girls aren’t able to score well, even though they are the toppers of the school. This, he says is because most of the girls, instead of conceptual learning, go into memorizing the text books, which is sufficient to score well in the AISSE etc. But when it comes to IIT, u gotta be thorough with the basic concepts. Not all the girls are conceptually strong. So in the JEE, the ones that are so get through, while the others generally don’t. So instead of looking at this in a general way, it’d be better to focus in the way you prepare, in my opinion.

  16. From the discussion Favorite actors cast as James Bond

    Tue, 03 Feb 2009 11:51:39 -0000

Actually I wasn’t so impressed with Craig, he looks too old. Moreover, the guy does too much of fighting and stunts an all, unlike the original James Bond punch-and-the-guy’s-been dealt with. Craig’s deviated from the original James Bond type films.
