      Hi Ashish,

You can check out the Computer Science department at the University of Waterloo here. If you take the computer science co-op program, you get placed with a job contract for 4 months, and study for 4 months. So you alternate between working and studying. You can find great jobs – the University of Waterloo campus is right beside Research in Motion (RIM), which makes products such as BlackBerrys. A lot of co-op students work here.

As for Google, usually great CS students who have some previous job experience under their belt would work there. Students have worked for Google, Apple, Microsoft and all sorts of other companies. It all depends on how hard-working and creative you are.

Click here to see the average salaries which co-op students make, depending on their year and their major. For example, Math students in their 2nd year of study made an average of $616 a week (in Canadian dollars). Students’ salaries in this year ranged from $462 to $850 a week. Hope this helps!
