If you are not using a standard Sun monitor, there is a possibility that the drivers or the sync to your current monitor are not supported in the defaults. You can try by attaching a cross-over serial cable to the console port of the Ultra 60 and the other end to a PC and then use Microsoft Hyperterminal to connect to the console port.
The serial configuration for the connection is standard: 96000, No Parity, 8 bits.
Using the serial cable you can perform a text base installation. Later you can give me better details of the problem. I think they might be solved from the NVRAM itself.
