    My advice is not to worry about what to put in, what to leave out, but to write without letting yourself edit! Turn the text you’ve already written white if need be, but no editing allowed! NaNoWriMo is a fantastic event for losing that inner critic and just writing. ;) I also recommend “No Plot, No Problem!” by Chris Baty as a book to help you get that novel out and edited.

    Is there any kind of an admissions interview?

    How long does it really take to hear back from them about an application?

    What are the chances of a first-year student being able to get a single room because she’s 1. younger than normal, and 2. hearing impaired?

    What’s the social/campus atmosphere and spirit really like?
