people r interested in the managementside not due to the factor that it provides a quick settlement. Core studies r always important.. but one should have the management skills to reach the best position.. Remember… one should have the managementskills to lead his team even though he works in coreside..
The reservation is one of the factor which influence the advancement of a country and its development.. Unfortunately in India the reservations are still present after 60 years of the freedom. The poor are becoming poor and the rich are becoming richer.The reservations are helpful to the people who are economically backward. I have seen so many families in which all the members of the family are government employees.They have been enjoying the reservations for decades. now they become economically sound. they don’t need reservations.Because of those sort people a talented person is loosing the chance. Everyone knows that the economically backward should be benefited out of these reservations.But politicians are playing with their power.It is the duty of the educated to create awareness among everyone. Apart from all these the total % of reservations present should be decreased. So that the talent will be encouraged and it leads to the development of the country. I am not against the reservations but what i feel is these should help the talented who cant come forward due to their poor economic background it should help them to continue their education in the IITs and IIMs.

hi kunal i feel all the sections in CAT are equally tough if u dont have the technique. As u said using no formule one can crack the CAT. All the sections will test ur logical ability. If u consider the maths section u should nt deal it with formule. u concentrate on the method or technique that how the formula is generated.Then this section will b very easy to deal.. In case of english also there r methods.. if u treat it just as a subject then it is difficult.. it is something beyond that..If u blindly bi heart the meanings then it is difficult.. U should use the vocab in ur general usage.. similarly data interpretation is also difficult u dont have the technique..
So what i want to conclude is that every section is hard and important. U should have the technique to deal.

Hi gauri, first step of the preparation is to write a old CAT PAPER. so that u can estimate the level of the paper and it will be useful in the choosing the best way of preparation. Go through the lessons topic wise , write the tests after listening the lessons. U can get many lessons from CAT prep,CAT quant communities.

You mentioned valid point. The game is ruled by the simple trick, i.e. knowing the methods.
But what makes difference in these games is the methods involved.
Say verbal may involve much less tricks than quant but much higher skills and practice.
After all speed is what you need specially for verbal section.
Thats the reason, i support the argument that individual sections vary in terms of hardness in the minds of various individuals.
