I would have to say, yes after a third of the campaign played so far, simply look at the standings. The top 5 are battling it out while the bottom 6 are in a fight of their own

I cannot sat anything impressive by the EPL squads in Champions League last midweek, Chelsea drew at Bordeaux, Arsenal barely won, etc.

Well stated, Tevez often seems lost because he is never sure when he will play. United are most dangerous when Tevez, Rooney and Ronaldo stay up front

How funny that the top four all failed to win last weekend. They didnt even register one goal between the four sides. Hopefully they get their act together in Champions League action

Ramos won the Carling Cup and yet less than a year later, the mate is sacked because of the poor start. Tough life to live

Juande Ramos out at White Heart Lane and the Spurs then play some solid ball. Thank Harry

The way Liverpool are playing, the American duo will hesitate to sell the club at the moment even though they could pocket profits right away.

Newcastle is still up for sale and the deal has been attracting much interest. Ashley has priced the club much too high and he will need to lower it in order to sell soon

Chelsea play at Blackburn and that should be 3 points while Liverpool has West Brom to deal with.

I believe Arsenal won? Is that right?

Things are really starting to get interesting right about now…

The group stages are evolving nicely and there has been much action in all groups. Chelsea are fighting with Roma to advance, while Liverpool and Athletico Madrid battle ahead. Manchester United will go through easily and so will Juventus who have been the most impressive by beating Real Madrid twice in ease. So much left as the last push to move is made

  15. From the lesson A day in the life

    Fri, 07 Nov 2008 15:26:41 -0000

The life of a football player involves constant training followed by more weight lifting and more training. Those that choose other ideas, end up being useless and do not play. Don’t get me wrong, many are out and about having a good time but this often leads to a lack of concentration on the pitch. A great example is Ronaldinho at Barca last season. He partied, did not give his all and was sent packing. Once you are that good and you throw it away, its hard to get it back quickly.

I will say this, no one team gets more penalties awarded then Liverpool and they seem to make them all. Kudos to L’pool for converting at a high percentage and in crucial times.

With Hull in the top 4, I would say.

With Liverpool on top and finally with the chance, I would say so..
