I’m 46 years old, a teacher of English, History and Sport. I teach children between 10 and 19 years old which means the grades 5 to 13. I took seminars of cooperated learning/ teaching with Kathy and Norm Green in Dortmund which I enjoyed very much. These seminars changed my way of teaching very much. Now I always try to let my students learn in cooperative teams and I already have had wonderful feedback and results. With other colleagues at my school we started a so-called “Werkstatt” which is a group of teachers who voluntarily come together twice a semester and teach each other new methods of cooperative learning. I love teaching very much, and I love my school. I think at my school you can do a lot concerning new methods and new ideas of teaching and learning.
