“Therefore n must be a factor of 5296 * 2 (n is the number of pages by the way). The factoring gives you 32 * 5296, and a quick check shows n = 32 is the only one that works with x = 150.”

I got logic of generalisation: Can you explain how you got” n = 32 is the only one that works with x = 150.”?

I think Cr answer is E. Coz conclusion: Because of nuclear armaments ,superpower not goin 2 third world war. premise : due to nuclear war makes land in habitable. Assm: third world war will “only” b nuclear war & “only” because of nuc.armaments , they are not goin 2 war. Hence choice has 2 disprove the concl r state sum factor is responsible for not goin 2 3rd world war. Choice E does it. In case of C, it talks about nuclear accident which beyond info given inthe passage.

For CR my answer is E. For DS my answer is A coz in stmt ii, we get equation x+y =80, hence value of x & y can b (40,40),(50,30),(60,20).... No definite result. Hence answer is A.

    Can you please tell me how did you arrive at the generalisation of “nx + (1 + ... + (n – 1) ) ”?
