Fascinating. I am wondering about the practicalities of it though. Looking around the web I can’t see widespread adoption, is it just too tricky to get it functioning well? or is it just early days?

I am a learning and innovation consultant, who interestingly enough did a guest speaker spot back in 2004 on an Athabasca MBA residential at Cranfield.
My current project is designing a course on “Online Collaboration” which will be a one day course aimed at encouraging people to use the tools that are available to do real work together, wherever they are located. I plan to use freely available tools to practically experience the three aspects: IM, Conferencing and document sharing. The course will initially be delivered in the UK as “face to face” delivery, the course materials will be openly available for others to use. I am interested in sharing experiences and knowledge.
