Ubuntu is one of most stable distro and keeps going unless you srew up with some of its vulnerable files.
Only thing I does not like is that Ubuntu comes without many audio and video codecs we commonly use. for example, mp3, wav, aac, etc. also, avi, mov and some of mpegs.
This is because they are promoting the open source audio/video formats like ogg, oga, etc.
Anyway some linuxes like sabayon does not have these problems.
But installing new programs is awfully easy in ubuntu. It is too simple if you have an internet connection. You can download and install all in a single step from its Add/remove Utility(apt)
This option can be seen under the application menu.
You just search the program you want in the search box, mark the ones to install, then click Apply to make the changes. This is very simple procedure.
The plugins for mp3, aac, etc can be obtained by just searching mp3 and some “gstreamer” kind of stuff will appear. you can install It.
Also, VLC player is available and installing it is recommended.
If you install wine, you can run most of( not all) windows programs too
He broke the ice. Cheers, Bhindra!

you can always draw two parallel lines and see that….
if you want a theoretical proof, try to solve the equations of two lines which are parallel to each other- you can’t! so we can say the parallel lines cannot meet at a real point…
