    It has to be D as per me. B seems incorrect as the word phrase needs to be closer to modifier. B)it seems Abe carr became resort

      D has a similar problem, since the “he” pronoun immediately following the phrase is confused with Florida, not with Abe. Since Abe is the subject of the sentence (as the “he” indicates), it should be in active tense. The passive tense in choice D makes it a weaker choice than B.
